Energy Efficiency Windows & Doors
GBC Conservatory Centre will provide you with energy saving windows and doors. When you are choosing your new windows and doors it is important that you consider energy efficiency as there are many benefits. All our windows and doors are at least 'D' rated but can be upgraded to 'A' for optimum insulation value.
'D' rated windows use glass which has a low E coating leading to lower energy costs. 'A' rated windows use low iron glass and the sealed units are argon filled leading to an even higher insulation value.

Fensa
GBC is a FENSA registered company. FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) was estabished by the Glass and Glazing Federation as well as other industry bodies in response to the current Building Regulations for England and Wales. Homeowners must comply with certain thermal performance standards and must get a certificate of compliance from your Local Building Control or from FENSA itself. FENSA enables companies who install replacement doors and windows for conservatories or other such projects, to self certify compliance under these Building Regulations.
